Equilibrium Climate Capital to Convene Leaders Across Infrastructure, Sovereign Investment and Climate Resilience During London Climate Action Week

London | June 2026

During London Climate Action Week 2026, Equilibrium Climate Capital (ECC), together with Bechtel, Gensler and the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC), will convene senior leaders from sovereign wealth funds, infrastructure, engineering, design, insurance, philanthropy and climate organizations for a private roundtable discussion on the financing and delivery of climate-resilient infrastructure.

The invitation-only discussion, From the Red Sea to the Strait of Malacca: The Geography of Climate-Resilient Capital, will take place on June 23 at Gensler's London offices and will bring together participants whose work sits at the intersection of capital deployment, infrastructure delivery and long-term resilience.

The discussion will focus on the infrastructure systems, investment structures and delivery partnerships required to scale resilient infrastructure across rapidly urbanizing and climate-vulnerable regions spanning the Arabian Peninsula and Southeast Asia. Participants will explore how capital, engineering capability, project delivery and operational resilience can be aligned to support infrastructure investment across one of the world's most strategically significant economic, energy and trade corridors.

Led by Valeria Ramundo Orlando, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Equilibrium Climate Capital and Greensquare Ventures, the convening reflects ECC's broader effort to bring together investors, infrastructure operators, engineers, designers and climate leaders around the practical requirements of resilient infrastructure deployment.

"Adaptation is increasingly tied to infrastructure continuity, energy systems, urban resilience and long-term economic competitiveness," said Ramundo Orlando. "The conversation is moving from awareness to execution, particularly across regions where climate exposure, infrastructure demand and economic growth are converging simultaneously."

The roundtable reflects the growing convergence of sovereign capital, infrastructure development, engineering capability and climate resilience within long-term investment strategy. Participants are expected to include leaders from sovereign investment organizations, insurance, philanthropy, infrastructure, engineering and climate resilience organizations.
